Vesper is a trip planning and collaboration app that lets you create trips, collaborate with others, import social content, send direct messages, and manage itinerary details. You provide account and profile details such as email, phone number (if used), username, display name, avatar, and theme preferences. You also provide trip and collaboration content, including trip titles, destinations, dates, itinerary items, notes, trip chat messages, direct messages to other users, social import links, text, and media, trip photos, collaborator lists, and expense details such as optional receipt images.

## 3. Information collected automatically
We process technical and usage-related information needed to run the Service, such as session and authentication state, basic service logs, device type, operating system, app version, and app or device permission states. We request access to device capabilities only when you use related features, such as notifications, camera, microphone, and media library access.
When you visit vespertravelapp or other Vesper web pages, our hosting provider may collect standard server logs (such as IP address, browser type, referring page, and request timestamps) for security and reliability. We do not use third-party advertising cookies on these legal pages.

Vesper may offer paid subscriptions (such as Vesper Pro). Purchases made through the Apple App Store or Google Play are processed by those platforms. We receive subscription status and related identifiers from our subscription management providers (such as RevenueCat) to unlock paid features, but we do not receive or store your full payment card details.

We retain account and trip data while your account is active, and may retain limited data longer when needed for legal compliance, fraud and abuse prevention, dispute handling, or backup and recovery processes.

You can update many profile and trip details in-app, control visibility settings, and manage notification preferences and device permissions through app and operating system settings. You can request support through Help and Support or email support@vespertravelapp.com, including privacy-related requests.
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict processing of personal data, subject to legal exceptions. Account deletion and full data export self-serve workflows are still being finalized.
